Saw the Catherine Opie exhibit at LACMA two weeks ago. I found the "landscapes" of the football stadiums to be the most interesting. The differences between the structures and care of the grass in each photograph really show how certain areas are more affluent than others. Although everyone is involved in the same sport, many of the players make do with much less, while certain schools spend alot of money on their programs.
Anyone going to this? If you want could car pool, I'm gonna try and go in the next week or so before it closes..
